Course Aim

The course is for anyone wanting to learn a very basic understanding of First Aid & be able to assess various emergency medical situations and how they should be treated. It will enable participants to respond to emergency and support first aid responders in the work place or assist in any emergency setting before the arrival of more qualified personnel..Basic First Aid training benefits everyone.

First Aid in the Workplace
Patient Assessment
Incident Procedure
Basic CPR Understanding
Common Medical Emergencies (asthma, diabetes, etc)
Injury Management & Shock
Care of the Unconscious Patient

Duration
The basic First Aid course will take 1 day to complete.

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a certificate of completion. This certificate will be valid for 2 years.
