The one-day Safe Tractor Driving Skills’ course is a very popular programme, especially among young teenagers and young adults.  The primary aim of this course is to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge needed to perform daily tractor safety checks and to drive and operate tractors safely.  Participants will learn how to handle tractors with various equipment and attachments, ensuring they meet the required safety standards and operate machinery confidently and competently.

The course content covers a range of vital topics, including safety checks before starting, setting up a proper driving position, safe driving practices, and hitching tractors to other implements.  Learners will also gain practical experience in operating trailed machinery from the tractor, assessing and checking terrain, and developing overall practical driving skills.  This hands-on approach ensures that participants are well-prepared to manage tractors safely in real-life situations.
